How To Make Bootable USB in Windows 7 or Windows Vista

Now as the computer technology is commonly relying on the USB technology, therefore having a bootable USB is also going to become a necessary item in order to install an operating system (like windows) on your computer especially on Laptops or Netbooks. Even in Netbook, bootable USB is considered as an essential option to have.

Bootable USB is also considered an easiest and faster way to install a Windows operating system on any laptop, personal computer or on any Netbook instead of using normal or I must say conventional DVDs for the purpose and it can also be prepared or created with the following very simple steps using Microsoft Windows 7 or Windows Vista:

• First of all, a USB stick should be plug with your computer and 4GB+ USB is preferable to make bootable universal serial bus
• If there is any important or useful data stored on your USB then must clear it or save it on other place as your USB would be formatted in this process
• Now you need to go to DOS mode and should be clicked on Command Prompt for the purpose located at the Accessories Menu in the All Programs tab and can also be accessed through typing CMD in the search field of Start Menu
• Now type DISKPART in Command Prompt and enter
• Then LIST DISK should be typed and enter again

Below mentioned commands that are simple and need not to explain in detail if you have some computer background, must be typed and enter exactly in the sequence provided below if the intention is to create or prepare a bootable USB:

• First of all type “SEELCT DISK 1” and hit enter
• Then “CLEAN” should be typed and press enter
• Then “CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY” should be typed and press enter

• Then “ACTIVE” should be typed and press enter
• Then “FORMAT FS=NTFS” should be typed and press enter
• Then “ASSIGN” should be typed and press enter
• Then “EXIT” should be typed and press enter

That’s it, you did it eventually and bootable USB is now in your hand to use as per demand

మన పీసీ సరిగా పనిచెయ్యనప్పుడు ఫార్మేట్ చేసి ఫ్రెష్ గా ఆపరేటింగ్ సిస్టం ఇనస్టలేషన్ చేసిన తర్వాత పీసీ లోని హార్డ్ వేర్ డివైజెస్ సరిగా పనిచెయ్యాలంటే వాటి డ్రైవర్లు ఇనస్టలేషన్ చెయ్యాల్సి ఉంటుంది. అయితే డ్రైవర్ల కోసం ఆయా డ్రైవర్ సీడీ లేదా అంతర్జాలం పై ఆధారపడుతూ ఉంటాం. అలా కాకుండా పీసీ క్రొత్తగా కొన్నప్పుడు డివైజ్ డ్రైవర్లను బ్యాక్ అప్ తీసుకోవటం వలన డ్రైవర్ సీడీ దొరకకపోయినా లేదా అంతర్జాలంలో సరైన డ్రైవర్ లభించనప్పుడు ముందుగా తీసుకున్న బ్యాక్ అప్ పోల్డర్ బాగా ఉపయోగపడుతుంది. అయితే పీసీ లోని డివైజెస్ యొక్క డ్రైవర్లను బ్కాక్ అప్ తీసుకోవటానికి Driver Magician Lite అనే పోర్టబుల్ అప్లికేషన్ ఉపయోగపడుతుంది. దీనిని ఇనస్టలేషన్ చెయ్యవలసిన అవసరం లేదు Driver Magician సైట్ నుండి డౌన్లోడ్ చేసుకొని రన్ చెయ్యటమే.

రెడ్ కలర్ లో ఉన్నవి మనం ఇనస్టలేషన్ డ్రైవర్లు, కావలసిన వాటిని సెలెక్ట్ చేసుకొని ’Start Backup' బటన్ పై క్లిక్ చేసి డెస్టినేషన్ ఫోల్డర్ సెలెక్ట్ చేసుకొంటే ఆ ఫోల్డర్ లోకి డ్రైవర్లు బ్యాక్ అప్ తీసుకోబడతాయి.

సహజంగా ఈ రోజుల్లో చాలామంది పైరేటెడ్ xp నే వాడుతున్నారు...అలాంటి వాళ్లు తమ కంప్యూటర్లో xp ని install చేసిన వెంటనే control panel లో Automatic Updates off చేయకపోయినట్లయితే... పెట్టిన వెంటనే Automatic Update జరిగి Microsoft వారి నుంచి Genuine message వచ్చి...మీ సిస్టం ట్రేలో కూర్చుంటుంది. అంతే కాకుండా సిస్టమ్ స్టార్ట్ చేసినపుడు login time లో మీరు వాడేది జెన్యూన్ కాదు.... ఈ ప్రాబ్లమ్ ను సాల్వ్ చేయమంటారా? అని మెసేజ్ వస్తుంది. Resolver late అనే బటన్ ను కొడితే కాని అది కూడా 5 సెకండ్ల తర్వాత మనం సిస్టం లోకి ఎంటర్ కాగలుగుతాం. అయితే ఈ ప్రాబ్లంను చిన్న యుటిలిటీ ద్వారా క్లియర్ చేయవచ్చు. ఈ క్రింద ఇచ్చిన డౌన్లోడ్ లింక్ ను క్లిక్ చేసి WGA.exe అనే చిన్న యుటిలిటీ ని మీ కంప్యూటర్లోకి డౌన్లోడ్ చేస్కొని అందులో ఉన్న installer.bat ఫైల్ ను run చేస్తే చాలు...ఇక మీకు సిస్టమ్ స్టార్ట్ అయ్యేటపుడు genuine message రాకుండా డైరెక్ట్ గా డెస్క్ టాప్ వచ్చేస్తుంది. తర్వాత సిస్టమ్ ట్రేలో వచ్చే genuine message కూడా హైడ్ అయిపోతుంది. అంతే కాకుండా కంట్రోల్ పానల్ లో Automatic Updates off చేయబడతాయి.(ఏది ఏమైనా xp original వాడటం ఉత్తమం. ఎందుకంటే సులభంగా అప్ డేట్ చేస్కొవచ్చు. మరియు పైరేటెడ్ xp వాడుతున్నామన్న ముద్ర పడకుండా ఉంటుంది.)

అయితే మీకు ఇపుడు ఇంకొక సమస్య మొదలవుతుంది. Automatic Updates off చేయబడ్డాయి కాబట్టి. .సిస్టమ్ ట్రే లో Your computer might be risk అనే మెసేజ్ వస్తుంది. అయినా Dont Worry.... దానిని అతి సులభంగా క్రింద చూపినట్లుగా disable చేయవచ్చు.
Taskbar మీద Right Click చేసి ప్రాపర్టీస్ క్లిక్ చేయండి. ప్రాపర్టీస్ విండలో కస్టమైజ్ బటన్ ను క్లిక్ చేయండి.

customize notifications విండోలో మీకు వస్తున్నYour computer might be risk అనే ఎర్రర్ ఎక్కడుందో వెతికి పట్టుకోండి. దాని ప్రక్కనే Always Hide అనే ఆప్షన్ సెలెక్ట్ చేసి ఓకే కొట్టండి. నా కంప్యూటర్లో ఆ ప్రాబ్లం లేదు కాబట్టి, క్రింద స్క్రీన్ షాట్ లో మోడల్ కోసం వేరే ఎంట్రీని సెలెక్ట్ చేయడం జరిగింది.

మిమ్మల్ని ప్రతిసారి విసిగిస్తున్న Send Error Message తొలగించాలంటే?

 

మీరు ఏదైనా సాఫ్ట్ వేర్ ఇన్స్టాల్ చేస్తున్నపుడు లేదా కంప్యూటర్లో ఏదైనా వర్క్ చేస్తున్నపుడు మీ కంప్యూటర్లో పలానా ప్రాబ్లం ఉంది. మైక్రోసాఫ్ట్ వారికి ఈ ఎర్రర్ ను సెండ్ చేయాలనుకుంటాన్నారా? అని Dont send, Send Error Message అని రెండు ఆప్షన్స్ వస్తుంటాయి. ఈ విధంగా ఎర్రర్ మెసేజ్ లు వస్తుంటే ఈ క్రింది విధంగా కంట్రోల్ ప్యానల్ కు వెళ్లి ఎర్రర్ మెసేజ్ లను డిజేబుల్ చేయండి ఇకముందు మీకు ఆ సమస్య ఉండదు.
1. Go to : start > control panel >> systyem >>> advanced

2. Disable error reporting ను సెలెక్ట్ చేసి Ok బటన్ ను క్లిక్ చేయండి.

ఇపుడు అన్నీ విండోస్ లకు ఓకే బటన్ ప్రెస్ చేయండి .

TrayOS - గూగుల్ అన్ని అప్లికేషన్లు ఒకేచోట నుండి యాక్సెస్ చెయ్యటానికి!!!

 

TrayOS అనే చిన్న ప్రోగ్రామ్ ని ఉపయోగించి గూగుల్ అప్లికేషన్లు ఒకేచోట అంటే సిస్టం ట్రే నుండే సులువుగా యాక్సెస్ చెయ్యవచ్చు. దానికోసం ముందుగా TrayOS ని డౌన్లోడ్ చేసుకొని ఇనస్టలేషన్ చేసుకోవాలి, తర్వాత TrayOS సిస్టం ట్రే లో కూర్చుంటుంది. దాని పై క్లిక్ చేసి సైన్ ఇన్ చేసి అన్ని గూగుల్ అప్లికేషన్లను పొందవచ్చు. కొన్ని అప్లికేషన్లు మాత్రమే పైన టాప్ లో కనబడతాయి అయితే ’Settings' పై క్లిక్ చేసి కావలసిన అప్లికేషన్లను స్టార్ట్ చేసుకోవచ్చు. కావలసిన అప్లికేషన్ ఆటోస్టార్ట్ చేసుకోవచ్చు, అనవసరమైన వాటిని డిసేబుల్ చెయ్యవచ్చు.

SPEED UP MENU DISPLAY.!!

When using the start menu the you will notice a delay between different tiers of the menu hierarchy. For the fastest computer experience possible I recommend changing this value to zero. This will allow the different tiers to appear instantly.
Start Regedit. If you are unfamiliar with regedit please refer to our FAQ on how to get started.
Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop
Select MenuShowDelay from the list on the right.
Right on it and select Modify.
Change the value to 0.
Reboot your computer.

How to make your Desktop Icons Transparent

Go to Control Panel > System, > Advanced > Performance area > Settings button Visual Effects tab "Use drop shadows for icon labels on the Desktop"

AUTO DELETE TEMPORARY FOLDER.!!

this opens ur temp folder n den u cal erase it neatly// still try dis one too..

First go into gpedit.msc
Next select -> Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates/Windows Components/Terminal Services/Temporary Folder
Then right click "Do Not Delete Temp Folder Upon Exit"
Go to properties and hit disable. Now next time Windows puts a temp file in that folder it will automatically delete it when its done! Note from Forum Admin: Remember, GPEDIT (Group Policy Editor) is only available in XP Pro.

Remove Stored username and Passwords

To remove the Stored User Names and Passwords from your system, try this:
Click Start, Run and type Control keymgr.dll
Remove the entries from the list.
The other ways to access this dialog are:
Type Control Userpasswords2 in RUN box, click Advanced, Manage Passwords
-or-
From Control Panel, select your User Account, click Manage your network passwords

Increasing System Performance

If you have 512 megs or more of memory, you can increase system performance
by having the core system kept in memory.

1. Start Regedit
2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management\DisablePagingExecutive
3. Set the value to be 1
4. Reboot the computer.

Creating a Password Recovery Disk

 

1. Single-click Start menu
2. Go to the Control Panel / User Accounts
3. Click the User Account
4. On the left hand side, click on Prevent forgotten password
5. You will need to know your password to create the disk.
6. If you don't remember your password sometime in the future, click on the green arrow like normal at the login and you will be prompted to insert the password recover disk.

In case you forget your password, you can create a password recovery floppy disk before hand to help you out of this problem.

Speeding Up the Display of Start Menu Items

An easy way to speed up the display of the Start Menu Items is to turn off the menu shadow.

1. Right click on an open area of the Desktop

2. Select Properties

3. Click on the Appearance tab

4. Click on the Effects button

5. Uncheck Show shadows under menus

Hiding System Tray Icons

1. Right click on the Taskbar
2. Select Properties
3. Check Hide inactive icons
4. Click on the Customize button
5. This will bring up a dialog box that will allow you to select one of three options for your applications:
   Hide when inactive, Always hide, or always show
6. Highlight current or past applications and make any changes you like.
7. A small arrow will now appear in the System Tray that will allow you to show or hide these icons.

Find Windows XP Key Inside CD.

Follow steps to find Windows XP CD key:

*Bring your Windows XP CD and insert it into your computer’s CD/DVD ROM/ RAM.

*Now, browse your Windows XP CD and find the folder I386.

*Inside I386 folder, find the file named as unattended.txt.

*Open unattended.txt by using notepad.

*At last, keep scrolling of the opened file and you will get Windows XP CD key.

Changing the Boot Screen of Windows XP

To change the boot screen, you first need to download  boot screen from the personal website. There are lots of bootscreen in different websites like themexp.org. First download those files from there. The names of all the files will be like ntskrnl.exe. Just backup the original file from your windows/system32 directory. And just paste it there. Or you can rename the new file just downloaded to another name, say abc.exe. and paste it to the windows/system32 directory. If the file name is changed, you need to add an entry to the boot.ini file. Just open my computer and type c:\boot.ini in the address bar. you will be given with a text editor. just in the last line paste like the following..
